National Trails Day is June 3, 2017!
Austin Parks Foundation, Hill Country Conservancy, and Texas Conservation Corps partner to host Austin’s local National Trails Day (NTD), the American Hiking Society’s nationwide trails awareness program, every year on the first Saturday in June.
In addition to trail work projects, we also provide several educational opportunities to take guided hikes at some of Austin’s favorite and hidden trails. Volunteers and community members improve the trails, and discover some of Austin’s most beautiful places!
Help us maintain and improve your local trail by volunteering for one of our National Trails Day projects. Check out the full list of projects to find one that’s right for you, and be sure to recruit your friends, neighbors and co-workers. The more the merrier! Questions?
