Austin Parks Photo ProjectThe Austin Parks Foundation is working to improve our parks database for park searches online. We're also going to use this database in the creation of a free park related mobile application! We need your help! We need volunteers to go to parks and take photos of it's beauty and unique features. It's a fun project that is quite literally a walk in the park! How to Collect and Send Park Photos:What You Need: 1. Digital Camera, 2. Email What we're looking for:
Photo Protocols: The number of pictures depends on the size of the park. For pocket parks, as few as two good pictures will suffice. In general, aim for 3 or 4 pictures of 3 or 4 features - anywhere from 2 - 10 pictures per park depending on the size of park. Send us high resolution photos and we'll downsize them for the web. Send the photos via email to eric@austinparks.org with the park name in the subject line and you're done. It's that easy! |
