Gerald Bartholomew Memorial Grant for Mountain Bike Trail Projects

Austin Parks Foundation is now accepting applications for grants of up to $500 for improvements to Austin's mountain biking trails. Funds may be used for trail building supplies, benches, signage, etc. Request an application from eric@austinparks.org.

Neighborhood Park Grants and Austin City Limits Music Festival Grants

The Austin Parks Foundation created our grants program to strengthen community investment and involvement in Austin's green spaces. Grant recipients are required to match awards with volunteer time and funds from local residents and businesses, in order to foster broad community participation. Our grants are open to both first-time project leaders and experienced community groups. Grants are for a one-year period.

What Can I Apply For?

We fund tools, equipment rentals, materials, park furnishings and professional services. For project ideas, see the complete list of projects below! We do not fund programming, events, classes, food and drink, or projects on private property.

How To Apply

The next grant application deadline is May 30, 2012. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis and reviewed twice a year. Deadlines are May 30, and September 30.

We are happy to pre-read your application and make recommendations and/or meet you on site to help consult on appropriate projects.
