Metz Park is joined to the hike and bike trail by an attractive bridge. It is just north of the Holly electric plant. The park's excellent athletic fields are in almost constant use. There's a kick ball field for pick-up games, so bring your ball.
Swede Hill Park

Treaty Oak Square
507 Baylor St.
Treaty Oak Square is just large enough to contain Austin's most famous tree. The 500-year-old Treaty Oak is the last survivor of the Council Oaks, a grove of fourteen trees that is said to have been a sacred meeting place for Commanches and Tonkowas.
