Description: The Lower Bull Creek Greenbelt extends from the northern trail entrance at Old Spicewood Springs road on the east side of Loop 360 (next to the Treetops Apartments) to the Bull Creek District Park on Lakewood Drive.

The key feature of the greenbelt is a 3.5 mile hike and bike trail built and maintained entirely by the Bull Creek Foundation, an all-volunteer affiliate of the Austin Parks Foundation.

Work began in 1996 to haul off trash and construction debris, remove invasive species, build long sections of trail from scratch using hand tools, install fencing, and transplant native plants and trees where invasive species have been removed. Over 80 volunteer workdays have been organized since 1996 to work on building and improving this trail. Visit the links below to learn more or get involved.
