Description: One of Austin's secrets worth discovering. Shady picnic area, volleyball court, and softball field.

Park users with kids report great tree climbing possibilities. The lovely old stone building that houses bathrooms has lots of imaginative play potential--ghost-town city hall, anyone?

The existing wading pool is expected to be converted to a splash pad in early 2010. Neighbors interested in fund raising for additional amenities such as benches and landscaping should contact Austin Parks Foundation.
