Description: Walter E. Long Metropolitan Park encompasses Walter E. Long Lake (formerly Dekker Lake).The lake is large and a popular fishing site. Kayaks can be rented; motor boats, mostly for fishing, are common.
Swimming is permitted, but there are no lifeguards. This is a perfect place to spend a warm afternoon, especially if you enjoy lakeside activities. Many people come just to picnic or enjoy a family barbecue. There is an $8 admission fee.Upcoming Events
