Description: This neighborhood park is just big enough to offer something for everyone! Giant shade trees keep the pools and play areas comfortable. Look for tadpoles in the creek.
Volunteers are currently raising funds to install an irrigation system for the grass and to extend the pool season. See "partner" information below or visit our Membership page.Thanks to help from Judy Fowler at Austin Energy and Jill Nokes, APF board member and volunteer, a number of trees were planted at Shipe Park in February 2008 along with temporary irrigation to get them established.
