Duncan Park includes an impressive BMX area

Description: This small park is a study in contrasts. It borders Shoal Creek on the edge of Austin's downtown. On one side of 9th Street, the park's winding path and pleasant view of the creek provide a peaceful refuge.

On the other side of the street, instead of peace there is adventure! Duncan Park features a truly hair-raising BMX track---one of the most challenging tracks for bicycling acrobats in Austin.

As of fall 2009, a new water fountain and pedestrian improvements are planned for the park.
